Meet the Doctors

Dr. Don Hirsh founded Hirsh Chiropractic Center with his wife, Dr. Susan Hirsh, in 1987. Dr. Hirsh specializes in the correction of postural problems that cause many, if not most, spinal and musculoskeletal problems and pain. In addition, he specializes in pediatrics, maternal care, nutrition and the most difficult and challenging chronic pain and health problems.


Dr. Hirsh is very involved in the chiropractic profession. He is the Chairman of Board of the Maryland Chiropractic Association and also chair of their Legislative Committee. Dr. Hirsh was selected Chiropractor of the Year in 2008.

He also serves on the Board of Directors of the International Chiropractors Association and is the Chairman of the Posture and Science Advisory Committee for the International Chiropractors Association and serves on their National Legislative Committee. In 2004 he was elected ICA’s Chiropractor of the Year.

Dr. Hirsh received his B.S. degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook and his Master’s degree from Florida State University, both in the Biological Sciences. In 1987 he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University, Cum Laude.

Since family comes first with Dr. Hirsh, he finds plenty of time to enjoy his wife and his two children. He also loves traveling, organic gardening, cooking and soccer.

Dr. Blake Richardson has been in private family chiropractic practice in Maryland since 1995.  He joined Hirsh Chiropractic in August of 2008. He is a native of Houston, TX and a 1994 graduate of Life University, College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA.   He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Houston in 1980, earning a Bachelor of Science in Technology degree.

Dr Blake, as he is known, has advanced training in many facets of chiropractic practice and serves as a spinal rehabilitation specialist.  He is also a certified practitioner of Body Restoration Technique (BRT).  In addition to his chiropractic practice, Dr. Blake is a professional musician.
